“When it comes to productivity, I think that it’s important not only to change environment every once in a while, I think it’s good to be a part of community.”
Serge Srđan Bajić is an ecommerce manager from Sombor, Serbia who stayed for a week in Mokrin House. Before that he spent two months in a coworking place in his hometown and now he is packing his bags because his next destination is going to be Scandinavia.
He noticed that most people who have the ability to work remotely don’t usually leave either their homes or offices. He supposes the reason why people don’t tend to do that is either they’re scared or don’t know where to start from, but if you have the opportunity to travel while working, Serge says you should definitely do so.
“You can save money if you go to places where living costs are cheaper. You don’t have to travel every week, you can stay somewhere for 3 months. You can find an apartment on Facebook or Airbnb and you can fit in in a local community. It’s a good opportunity to do that while you still can; probably when you’re 35 or 40 and you have a family, that’s not as easy to do, so I would encourage everyone to travel and work remotely.”
